Audience feedback

Front Cover:
  • Do you think my magazine reflects my chosen genre of pop?
  • What features enable you to recognise my magazine as a magazine?
  • Do you think my language choice is suitable?
  • How could my front cover be improved?

From my audience feedback I have learnt that my magazine does reflect my chosen genre of pop, as I have a good colour scheme, lots of coverlines, a puff which is stereotypical for any type of magazine. The puff and barcode, price ,date and website allows the audience to recognise my magazine as a music magazine. My language choice is suitable as I have used abbreviations and informal language to relate to my target audience. Overall I am happy with this feedback as I have met my expectations.

Contents page:
  • Does my contents page resemble a pop magazines contents page?
  • Is my language choice suitable?
  • Do you think my pictures suitable?
  • What do you think needs to be improved on the contents page?

From my audience feedback I have learnt that I should include some more features on my contents page, the language choice is suitable as I again have used abbreviations which would appeal to my target audience of teenagers. The pictures are suitable as they can be imagined as teenage pop stars. Some of the text on my wins and offers blends in with the box, so I will make the text stand out more.

Double page spread:
  •  Describe the layout of my double page article
  • What do you think of my main image? Is it suitable?
  • Do you think my language choice is suitable?
  • What do you think could be improved on my double page spread?

The layout is good as the main image is on one side and the text on the other which is a common feature of double page spreads, as wells as three columns of text. The main image is suitable as the pose and style reflects my chosen-sub genre of pop. The langue choice which I have used is suitable. The features of the double page spread all link in well together which is what I hoped for.
